Being a trip sitter is interesting.

I gave out mushrooms to three friends of mine, with two of them (wary newbies) taking 1 gram and just having slightly different ways of thinking, and the other taking 2.5g and having a pretty strong trip (somehow I've got fairly potent mushrooms).
Anyhow, the two others did fine on their own, but I wound up trip-sitting for the third guy, who happens to be a very good friend. It's interesting seeing your friend just overwhelmed with the experience, sitting down and thinking deeply.
Apparently, while he was sitting there with me checking in on him every once in a while, it felt like an eternity to him, and he had a pretty deep introspective trip... realizing how thankful he was for his friends and family, and thinking about what makes each person in his life unique.
Eventually he needed a change of scenery, so I had to help him stand and walk into his house, since he was staggering and hyper-focused on his thoughts.
Then, as he's coming down, he's talking a mile a minute on a long rant trying to tell everyone what he has learned...
It's just wierd seeing a friend have that whole experience, all while you've been sitting there chatting with him and your other friends.
First time I've been a trip sitter, and it was a pretty memorable experience, seeing from a sober perspective what a friend is like on mushrooms.

I'm not sure I'd enjoy trip-sitting, at least not sober. When people around me are tripping, I like to be tripping as well. I could maybe see taking a smaller dose than everyone else.

I don't mind being sober around people who are on mushrooms.
I was there to lend a hand, I like doing that.

I, personally, hate mushrooms.
They just don't agree with me, they are not the right drug for me.
Now mescaline, on the other hand...
Speaking of which: I need to get back to the extraction, there's likely a whole 'nother gram or two waiting to be had.

On the comedown of my trip i really wanted to explain everything to someone.
I dont know if i'll be able to trip sit...I'd want a little bit of the experience too!
