I live near a portabella mushroom factory and I can obtain the same substrate mixture they use to grow mushrooms. Would this mixture be useful to anyone here? I have access to an analysis sheet that shows exactly whats in it and how much.
Any takers?

It's probably horse manure or compost based. As long as they're selling fresh compost and not their spent substrates, it will work great. If it's spent substrate, it's fine for plants, but no good for mushroom growing anymore. RR

RR is on the money.
If it's fresh (never had spawn added to it & cropped). You could not do better.
Places like that sell SPENT substrate. Which is good garden soil additive, but not as substrate.
SPENT SUBSTRATE, is like used toilet paper.

Send me some. You could make some dough becoming a sponsor and selling it here.

that's a good idea... There's a mushroom cultivator a few miles from where i live... They're a local company called "a fungus among us", but they sell grow kits, etc along with their massive mushroom production outfit. I doubt they'd give me any sort of discount if I were to resell their substrate (which is great... since they're hippies!)
Anyways, yeah, become a sponsor!
