I have a mini greenhouse that im running a humidifier into.. i have my hose kinked so that it lets a very small amount at a time... I don't think that the humidity is too high but im still getting water drops on just about everything.. does this mean the humidity is still too high?

what type of humidifier are you using? If it's an ultrasonic maybe you should put it on a timer. Regardless of what type it is you need to find out what the RH is inside there and move ahead from there. Obviously it's pretty high in there.

hmm If it's running all the time then you should have much higher RH. Have you calibrated your gauges? If you have water droplets forming all over then I would think it's too high of humidity. What temp is your greenhouse at?

Put the coolmist inside the greenhouse and run it for no more than a minute or two at a time, then five to ten minutes off. That's the sequence I worked out with my vics cool mist and a greenhouse that is easily as large as three marthas. I get humidity in the mid 90's with zero drips or mess. Not only that, the coolmist has been running for well over a year now. When using hoses, max life was measured in weeks. In addition, I only need to fill the thing once every ten days or so. Placing the coolmist INSIDE the greenhouse is key. RR

Are you asking me to repeat myself? Do a few searches. I've been recommending this technique for well over a year now. I got tired of ruining coolmists by forcing them to produce static pressure that forces moisture into the bushings, which ruins them and burns out the motor. Then, you can't return it for credit because it's been modified.
I was only looking for a way to be able to return them for credit when they shit the bed. Low and behold, I'm still running the original, and no longer have a pile of old coolmists laying around. RR

Sorry RR , real estate is to valuable a commodity in my green house to fill with a cool mist . And if you're using a 2 tier , who wants to lose 1/2 their fruiting area to a cool mist ?
And you can still return a modified cool mist . Just buy a replacement and switch out the motors and return the one you just bought , with the bad motor , for a refund . You don't modify the motor , only the resevoir tank .
I've been running the same $2 cool mist for 6 straight months , 20 hours a day , outside the green house , with no problems I do have 2 lines running from it to eliminate back pressure though .
