Dark Side of The Rainbow

Dark Side Of The Rainbow

Dark Side Of The Rainbow info

I am aware that 90% of you have seen this, but I find it essential for the other 10% to experience this.

Just watch this sober (or stoned) and it will blow your mind. I have never watched it tripping, but I'm guessing it is really really cool.

It's not really for a few reasons....Dark Side of the Moon is one of Pink Floyds worst albums and the synch isn't really a synch. The Echoes and 2001 A Spacve Odyssey is a better synch.

It becomes something different while tripping. I have seen it once tripping, and that topped all the other times.

Geez Deadmaker, you don't like Dan Akroyd or Dark Side of The Moon?

Thats just un-American.

I like both. Just as far as pink floyd albums go, Dark Side is about 7th or 8th best and Akroyd is cool......that was just the alcohol talking.

Not trying to start an argument, but you really think that Dark Side is the 7th or 8th best album? That is tomfoolery, Dark Side is a beautifully synchronized album, in my opinion (aside from echoes) it is their magnum opus - at least as a complete album. I think I might start a Poll.

You ever listened to Animals, Meddle, The Final Cut, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, A Saucerful Of Secrets, More?....I think all those are better than Dark Side of the Moon. A poll wont do any good because people will vote for what's popular whether they know what they are talking about or not. It's human nature.

Actually the Ummagumma live disc is better than Dark Side of the Moon too.

The Final Cut?? That album sucks!

the only albums I would say in the same breath out of that group as DSOTM would be Wish You Were Here, The Wall, and Animals.

You must be a Gilmour fan. That's the only way that you would say that TFC sucks.

More than Syd Barrett (RIP) if that's what you mean, I'm a fan of his stuff, but I think the band evolved into something much greater after he left.

Go Bucks! I can't wait until Nov.28 the Michigan Game.

I have Dark Side Of The Moon tatt'd on my back, so that speaks what album I like the best. I love them all, but DSOTM is my favorite.

Deadmaker, you are dead wrong. DSOTM is the greatest rock album there is and you should never speak again. I agree, Meddle and Wish You Were Here are amazing, and I wont even because to debate The Wall, but Dark Side is the best. Sorry, but your wrong.

Shine on!

No, I mean more of a Gilmour fan than a Roger Waters fan......because TFC is more like a Roger Waters solo album than a PF album. Mush like A Momentary Lapse Of Reason is a Gilmour solo album and not PF.Of the two, TFC kicks the dogshit out of AMLOR.

Well. . . agree to disagree.

I respect your viewpoint, but provide me some more solid reasoning for why the others are better, cause I still don't get where you are coming from if you are not a Syd Barrett loyalist.

Screw the Michigan game, you need to beat Texas!

I hate UT.

We (Texas Tech) don't play you, but I'll be rooting for Ohio State!

Yes I know who Roger Waters is, I just didn't think it applied to what we were talking about since I thought you were talking about Syd Barrett.

You didn't, but you didn't mention Roger Waters either. And if you want my opinion on Roger Waters - I think he is a friggin musical savant (literally). As far as being a person go he's a wacko.

I regularly tinker with media and soundtracks, and accidental synchronisation of imagery and unrelated soundtracks is VERY common, you can almost depend on it spontaneously occurring.
