I guess since we're on the subject of what the law should be, the law should be uplifted. If you want to use in the comfort of your own home, then so be it. But if you want to be in an altered state of consciousness in a public place, where other people are around trying to go about their daily lives, that should still be illegal. You don't know what can happen, and have barely any control over it (driving is a perfect example), and can ruin somebody else's life (if not just your own, people who have relationships with you). The law can't just be *taken* away because people would be far too irresponsible, as a whole, with it. I guess the law of alcohol is the best comparison to what the new psychedelic drug law should be.

I voted Yes, it's irresponsible.

You could hurt yourself by getting into an accident. You could be hallucinating too much to be able to help yourself if you got injured or needed to get help. In all honesty I believe that unless you are in your home or on your property, you need someone to watch over you.

I voted no in response to the vagueness of the poll. Under certain circumstances, it is not irresponsible to drive.
As suggested, low doses of mushrooms can be handled in many publicly demanding situations.
It is mostly irresponsible to drive on a moderate dose, unless in an emergency.
It is foolish to attempt to drive at a high dose, even in an emergency situation (you don't want to go creating more emergencies...).
