Florida is certainly becoming shroomier!

I don't have any pictures of this
But today at work we were in a cow pasture in Manatee county Florida
I didn't spend too much time hunting.
First I spotted a cow pie with 2 Panaeolus subbalteatus.
Later I spotted about 5 decent size and perfect Psilocybe cubensis growing from one pie.
Then I spotted a cow pie which had several little dried Copelandia cyanescens growing from it.
This was all in an open field with no trees, I am sure the fields with trees are producing better.
But it was fun to be on the property with legal permission finding a few shroom species!
Surveying is fun kids, especially when your company mainly works for the Department of Transportation here in Florida.
I currently have permission to be on about 4 different cow pastures and 2 horse pastures.
I don't eat or collect these mushrooms, especially when I'm at work, but I sure see them out there!
Anyways, Shroom season is on!!!!

we went hunting on the 16th (me and danko420 here, along with one other guy) and found nothing. the bottom dropped yesterday, though..
we were on a very active field in a car (permission of course ) i spotted a few places where it was obvious mushrooms were, but were either picked/whatever. it's was just too fucking dry.
may go out today.

Wow, all that permission and no taking advantage! The respectful are rewarded. Cool to know there's more variation going on, I've always just found cubies.
Yeah zsdmf, Florida's dry right now, even after those days of rain. Went hunting this morning and all the fog was sucking back into the sky unfortunately. It was plenty damp, but the sun killed it during the day yesterday and the day before...came back with 2 sopping feet and 1 inactive mushie. (found on ground next to the field, ha...)
