Done pressure cooking. 1 question
    #5870339 - 07/17/06 06:40 PM (17 years, 6 months ago)

Got done pressure cooking my jars and there appears to be condensation inside of them. Should there be some water from the steam of the pressure cooker or should they be as dry as they were when i put them in the cooker. I used medical tape to cover the 2 holes in the lids..

It would be help-full if you explained whats in the jars.

But, yes, there is often some condensation.

You just don't want so much - moisture pools in the bottom of the jar.

1 pint jars with 1/2 vermiculite 1/4 water and 1/4 brown rice flower. Its not saturated with water but the vermiculite is visibly darker towards the top of the jars from the water.

Exact same thing happened to me last week, I was also concerned as it was my first grow.

They are working out fiiiine as anything though. The little extra bit of moisture wont do anything.

Here is a pic after 6 days:

So long as there is no pooling of water you're completely fine.
