I've got a tiny bit of orange bumpy stuff on two of my already fruiting cakes. I've isolated them from the rest of my cakes but my question is should I: A) pick the shrooms that are already growing on the cake B) wait to see what happens C) just trash everything
This is only my second grow, I'm pretty much a noobie so anything will help.

I would advice tossing it, with any contamination. If there is contamination or mold, ect you wouldnt want to risk consuming the mushrooms. You could watch it and see if it clears, but I wouldn't advice eating any mushrooms coming from a contaminated cake, for your safety.

I didn't notice the mold until after I picked some shrooms, should I throw these away too?

There is a chance that their contaminated too. I would suggest throwing them away just for the slight chance that they contain any mold or contamination. I'v accidently eaten mushrooms that I took from a cake (before I noticed contamination) and I felt extremly sick. I hope this helps.

first what does it look like? if it is blue it might be bruseing. also if it is white it might be myc growth. i had a strain that was very white and bumpy after i put in the fc.also it might be because of high humidity . if you can get a pic up or discribe a little better that would help

this isn't a pic of my cake, but its a pic I found that looks like the same type of contamination:

Bacterial contaminations will make you sick from food poisoning. Most molds are harmless, unless you inhale the spores of certain ones. IF the cake only has a small amount of mold, but no bacteria, then the fruits are ok. Toss out any gross looking fruits, but normal ones can be boiled into tea for safety if you wish. RR
