shop art gallery. I got the hook up for coffee and the apliances. Now i got to find a good place to lease with an option to buy down the road. This is gonna be fun. Now maybe instead of a nice cafe kind of place i was thinking of a drive though joint. I get a lot of traffic during the morning rush. Now with a drive though i need to get surveys of future road work planed. If they do work infront of my store that could ruin me if it lasted long enough. I also got to get someone to do a report and deam wether the traffic pattern would be hindered by peaople pulling into the lot. Not to mention getting electric and figuring out a closed water system. Let the investigations commence!!!

Artsy parts of towns have a bazillion coffee shops. How would you compete with such entrenched competition?

I'd go for chill cafe over drive through, I think a drive through would take away from the atmosphere.

ill 2nd that. Drive through turns a coffee house in a machine. I worked in a drive through cafe before.. it sucked. You get to know you customers much more if they get out of their car and go in to order. That way they can also look at other products and check out the art.
