 Mom stubled upon my spore syringes.

Yea so yesterday my mom came to visit me, and she went to get somthing out of the fridge, and the next thing i hear is:
Mom: "WHAT ARE THESE SYRINGES???"
Me: mushroom spores
Mom: "what?"
Me: Mushroom Spores... I used them in school (its true, i did actually take them to school and check em out under the microscope once)
Mom: oh, ok... are you still planning on taking mushroom identification this summer?
Me: yes, its tuesday nights from 5-8.
Mom: ok, remind me to tell your father to write a check for the class.
End of discussion. Gotta love bio. majors.

right on parents can be funny...
i'm living with my mom and grandmother now, and i told them i was going to grow mushrooms and put it in their salad. and that we should all trip together... but i don't think any one took me seriously..... maybe a bio major to back that up

My friend got caught w/ my syringe, they thought it was heroin.

Hehe... a few nights ago while I was having a party this girl looked into fridge and saw the shroom spore syringes, she was shocked, her boyfriend told her it was heroin that I'd ordered (you could see I had ordered them from some company). She believed that . I told her it was mushroom spores when she asked me, all worried and stuff. She asked me when I was going to shoot up and trip, lol!
And get this, I told her about the process of growing mushrooms and how sterile they are supposed to be. She opened the fridge later on and one of the syringes (unused and packaged in sterile bag) fell onto the ground and she freaked out... hehe, I played along and told her she ruined everything!

Once we had a friend over, and he looked in the fridge and saw my syringes. I had forgotten to hide them like I usually do.
He walked over to Kevin and I and said very seriously, "You know, I have alot of respect for people that give shots to their animals themselves instead of having a vet do it. That's cool."
I managed to stumble out a reply like, "Oh, yeah, I totally agree..." 
Now I always try to hide them if I know that company is coming over!!

Put them in the back of the vegetable drawers at the bottom behind your vegetables. No-one ever opens that drawer usually. I've had LCs in there for years and no one ever saw them.

is it that much better keeping them in the fridge as opposed to room temperature?
i've had mine sitting under my bed for awhile now...maybe i should move them.

Better yet, pull out the drawer completely and tape them to the back.
(syringes anyway, an LC probably wouldn't fit)
