Advice on buying a Used Pressure Cooker

I hope this is the correct forum to ask this question...
I have found someone willing to sell me a 16qt PC for $30. Magic Seal model 7-16 from the 50s.

It is in good condition and appears that I would only need to replace the seal (which comes w/ a new pressure release valve I found for $8 + S/H.) online.
So, for a total of about $40 bones I could have a 16 qt PC... Should I go for it or keep looking?
thanks, -ghost

I can find those in 2nd hand stores for under $10
it's not such a great deal in my honest opinion.

I got mine for 7.50 at some consignment shop. The first time used I was quite unsure on how a pressure worked in the first place but it seemed to get the job done.
