Kitchen Cabinet Incubation Chamber

Not my tek; Just testing what turned out to be a good idea:
Based on a suggestion from the Shroomery, I decided to check the environment in the cabinets just above my fridge.
To determine this, I performed a simple test of the environmental conditions. I have posted a quick log below from one day's testing. I have tested for several days with consistent findings.
--- OUT = Temperature outside (Can be a bit inaccurate; I usually add 2 deg to the reading which has been done here)
IN = Indoor temperature in my Living Room (Very accurate)
INC = Completely seperate device in the KC. My kitchen is around 20 feet from my Living Room (Very accurate) ---
The average temperature above my fridge seems to consistently between 2 and 4 degrees warmer than the rest of my space. I keep my living space at approx. 78 degrees to protect against any spikes.
As such, I believe the I am fortunate enought to not have to build a TiT. The average reading in the cabinets above my fridge has been approx. 82 deg / 52% RH. Hottest spike was 84.1 deg in the inc over the past four days.
My thermo-hygrometer in the KC was tested in conjuction with a seperate calibrated In/Out thermometer.
Thanks to RK/Shroomery community for the tip. Hope someone else will try this and find similar results.

I dont get this. How can your 1 Pm reading be 92 F and the inside of the cabinet be lower in temp then the 8 am? That doesnt make sense. Those 2 temp gauges seem to differ alot in readings also.
The tit is no trouble to build. Its just finding and buying a Quality water heater that is the issue. Plus, its safer and easier to conceal if need be.
None the less, good tip, but hardley compared to a propoer functioning Tub In Tub, but so many people dont even use that for inncubating, it doesn't matter really. I just prefer non fluctuating tempertures and ideal conditions.

It is the refrigerator that actually provides the extra heat to the cabinet. Above my fridge there are two small cabinets which have an approx. 4 inch clearance from the top of the appliance.
So, the heating coils on the back of the fridge radiate heat which affects the temp in the cabinets above.
The thermo-hygrometer measures around 76-78 deg in an empty tub. So moving above the fridge will definitely provide an better environment than my anticipated setup.
I'll consider a TiT if I ever feel I need one, but for now I feel great having an inc w/o having to purchase a damn thing =)
EDIT: Don't forget I am using the AC to keep the house at around 78 deg. That may have something also to do w/ the variation: that and the cycles my fridge happened to be on.
EDIT2: I update the original post w/ definitions of In, Out, and Inc for clarity.

glad that worked out for you bro.
the heat from the frig, freezer or water heater can incubate jars nicely.
nice to see someone listen to me once in awhile.

Thanks RK for the tip! You saved me $$$ which I can use to invest in the hobby/community. Methinks RK may be Alton Brown with his ability to get several 'off-label' uses out of varying items.
15,000+ posts makes me consider your judgment to be, uh, nearly gospel.

yw bro!~
these methods do work when you don't have the money to buy and make an incubator!~
I really do like the TIT incubator... for my own personal use though.
my buddy pleezr used to use the cabinet over the frig method... and he always had nice colonization.
and he was one of the best cultivators that I have ever met...btw I miss pleezr I haven't seen him in a long time!~
