Haha nice call I was about to suggest Shpongle. I'd say maybe something relaxed like Latino stuff, but then again I'm hispanic so its all gravy and biscuits for me.
I haven't really ever heard of any other good trip music besides Shpongle..
311? Reggae... Sublime, maybe classical...

Yea, never had much stock with Tripbands, but that'll change soon enough.
Also try Hallucinogen, Shpongles off band, the younger guy started his own, I believe its called that, if not check their website I know its on there somewhere

Christian Death - Catastrophe Ballet, Path of sarrows, Rage of angles, any of Rozz Williams' stuff for that matter
Gardens of Gehenna - Dead Body Music, is really good.
Actually, in about an hour or so I'm mixing up 2.5g of SA's with some lemon juice, and sticking in those 3 christian death cd's....haven't tried lemon juice yet....g/l to me

thanks ashland i was thinking of dead meadow too. their self titled album blows me away and its perfect for lsa. bombay dub orchestra is a little too dramatic for the lsa feel.

Dead Meadow - Feathers is an excellent album to listen to while tripping, all the way through even.
They're playing here on the 22nd :-D can't wait to see 'em

actually Shroomie, if i could recommend one album for you to trip to it would be 'magical power from mars' by acid mothers temple & the melting paraiso ufo. i much prefer this kind of psychedelia to psytrance and the like; instead of the beats it's the drone that takes you soaring. but maybe that's just me, after all i do hear tamboura-like drone music when i trip in silence too

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails is also a good album to listen to straight through while tripping... it provides for some really vivid and surreal imagery.

thanks, i really like dead meadow. and dub, so ill check out king tubby and the dub project, thanks guys. I have also recently discovered acid mother temple ajna, and i do like some of their stuff, but they have some songs with annoying beeps and sounds that get on my nerves i dont know what it is.
I havent heard rjd2 yet, im downloading them now.
im not much into NIN although i think it would be pretty good along the lines (literaly) of LSA.
I am really interested in Front Line Assembly, very good band so far, thanks again deathcompany. So far this is exactly what I would expect to be listening to whilst on LSA, based on what my own aural and audio perceptions told me last experience.
thanks for all the band names guys, ill continuing downloading these names youve all given me, ill let you know what I think, but I feel comfortable enough with FLA to put them in on my next experience. they feel so adventurous mentaly.
