Do cows crap always yield with Mushrooms or does it have to be something they eat? I've been told a many of things and I dont know what is the proper medium for them to grow in.
Any help from someone of knowledge would be greatly appreciated.. I'm considering going East to Louisiana for some hunting.. Or in the local area of Northeast Texas by the corner.

it doesnt grow in all cowdung...only if there are spore on what they eat...it works becuase cows stomaches don't use acid to digest, so the spores arent broken up...

All you need is cows, grass, and spores... and an absence of flies; flies will eat through cow shit and turn it white, making it inviable. However, every cow field has flies, and you should not make their presence (unless overwhelming) a factor in where you decide to hunt. Some fields are active, and others are not. I have hunted in immensely active fields, where the field across the street was completely inactive (no joke). You just have to find the right one.
