but I just downloaded the 3-CD collection "Silence & I- Very Best of the Alan Parsons Project".
Impulsive? Yes.
I don't even know if I like the Alan Parsons Project
Anyone care to share any thoughts on this group?

Alan Parsons is pretty good. Give it a listen. My favorite album of his is Tales of Mystery and Imagination. If you like the best of then give that album a listen as well. I Robot is pretty good too.

I, Robot is actually the song that prompted me to download the "Best of" collection. I heard the song on Pandora and liked it.

I used to own what I think is Alan Parsons' latest release called "A Valid Path", which includes "Return to Tunguska" with Simon Posford and David Gilmour. I found it really inextraordinary, though. It was one of the few albums I decided to trade in a few months back for record store credit.
Some of his older songs I like a bit, though.

Yeah, Pandora is really good at introducing new music. I've gotten into a few albums that I otherwise would have never heard.

i don't recall if it was good, but i'm sure it's all right
it's free, anyway, so what does it matter
