Quick Poll On Responsibility With Psychadelics

All right, for the sake of learning what the consensus is in this website of those who are actively involved with a psychadelic such as mushrooms, I'd like to do a quick poll. I request that everyone respond in a serious manner, as the question is serious and has serious ramifications.
Feel free to share your reasoning afterwards, and I appreciate your time!
 Peace.

I said no, simply because of the very mind-bending nature of psychedelic drugs.

In my sleep deprived state, I misread my own question and voted "no", as in, it is not irresponsible...
Normally it would be my bed time, but yet I will be going in to work in two hours.. complete shift switch for a week...
So you mean that you voted yes, then? Perhaps my poll was worded wrong...
 Peace.

I'm voting Yes, that it's irresponsible to drive a car while shrooming, HOWEVER, if there is an emergency, that woulden't fall into "Under any circumstances" imho
This is comming from someone who had to find out what puking while doing 65 down an interstate after being back to baseline from a fun night is like....
fortunatly I had already tossed everything before I left, and managed to make what did come up into a Mt Dew can
I'm talented and never want to experience that again in my life. Wich ranks right up with being dosed 2 hits and then them demading I take them home, wich was a 30 min drive there, and 30 min drive back.
I felt like I was just a head floating down the road the whole way home Never want to experience that one again either.

This shouldnt even be a question... of course it's irresponsible to drive while tripping on shrooms. I couldn't even imagine doing it, I would get distracted by every little thing I pass and crash into something

You should never drive while on psychedelics but I am sure there are circumstances that occur that force people to drive. I have been in this position. NOT FUN!

True, life or death should have been an exception, but I was in a hurry when I made the poll.
And, yes, it is a question that shouldn't need to be asked, but yet, alas, some individuals are ignorantly irresponsible, and have expressed that they drive while on mushrooms and are skilled enough with driving....
I'm sure everyone has caught the recent thread in The Pub pertaining to the parents who went to the party at night with their infant, both consumed some acid, and ended up dancing around the backyard within close proximity of a chained Rottweiler, dropped the baby, at which point, the dog attacked the baby, creating a fatal wound.
Similar circumstances, but perhaps not as extreme. Still, it underscores the point - getting behind the wheel at any point means that one is assuming the responsibility for one's own life, as well as other individuals' life, and property as well. A responsible person takes necessary safeguards to ensure that no damage to oneself or others is likely to occur. Choosing to be under the influence of psychadelics implies an entire new realm of necessary responsibility, as one knows that one's perceptions will be incredibly altered from the base at which we normally perform our daily, routine functions.
At the same time, it simply does not surprise me that people would be so irresponsible and ignorant, the majority of the world does not realize even the most short-term consequences of their actions, drugs or not. Personally, however, I would hold those who consciously engage in consuming psychadelics to a higher standard, especially those who access a website such as this, that provides an incredible amount of insight and understanding on all things psychadelic. To not make use of and apply what can be accessed here is probably irresponsible in itself.
 Peace.

So far, 30 yes and 7 no... two of those no's proclaimed to be unintentional answers, and one of which likely would have voted yes if the question was worded to exclude extreme situations in which it would be absolutely necessary to engage in such behavior, regardless of one's altered state....
If we assume only two of those no's were intended to be a yes answer, that would be 86%, and this thread has only had 154 views. I think we are building a consensus, and I can't wait to share that expected consensus with a certain individual...
 Peace.

I voted yes, it's irresponsible... Lol, anyone who thinks they drive better while high is too stupid to realize... THEY'RE HIGH! Just because you're analyzing things more and paying more attention to what you see doesn't mean you're a better driver unless you're noticing and paying attention to everything, something that you can't always do while you're high (Everyone's put the wrong cap on a bottle or been looking for something in their hand).
Hell, there are even some sober states that I wouldn't feel sure about driving in. While you're driving you're incased in about 3 tons of metal, glass, and explosive fuel traveling over solid ground at about 100kph. Just because we have all these seat belts with safety locks and airbags we seem to forget just what we're doing when we're driving and we forget how quickly something could go seriously wrong that we might not walk away from. To risk your life, the lives of those with you, the lives of those around you, and the property of everyone mentioned including the city (which the public has to pay for) in a situation that these people can't really stop or have any control in just because you'd rather drive somewhere than walk or take public transit then you're just an asshole.

I think its highly irresponsible to drive drunk, or on anything that impairs your ability to function.
And marijuana use can be fine while driving, and bad while driving, depending on the user. Someone who smokes a bong rip every 10 minutes like me is used to operating and doing everything stoned off my ass, so when im sober I make alot of mistakes (I operate a stick shift fine while blazed off my ass, and I am a very safe noticeably defensive driver. I kinda take what you said offensive. ). While if someone who doesn't get stoned often, were to smoke some good shit and go driving when they are beligerant, thats just not right.
But saying that marijuana use in general are in relation with unsafe drivers is just informing us no more than the fact that you have not had the same personal experience on the subject and are treading the same grounds as any uneducated press critic printing shit for bread money.

I agree. Plus if you get in a car accident and somehow they find out you were under the influence of mushrooms it just gives mushrooms an even worse name, and gives the government more reason to keep it illegal. I think any of these substances are just fine to use in the safety of your own home or in a safe environment where your safety and the safety of others is not a concern.
