strange mycellium

my mycobag is about 30 or 40% colonized, but alll the mycelia are just little balls about as big as a quarter. they dont connect and dont like they are growing together at all. is this bad? should i break up the bag?

i broke it up but maybe i shouldn't of. i read somthing that if u break up the bag more then twice(including after innoc) it is bad. i mashed after innoc. at 10%( more then a week ago) and today. is it going to contam or somthing?

if you used spores or a spore based LC,

you slowed it down by mashing after inoculation.
only massage your bags once, at about 30%.

mitch, that's bad advice... If you inject with an LC, it's great to move it around... it's only when you use an MS injection that you don't want to move it... YOU read before you act :P

correct.

in a LC the spores have already germinated, my bad for sure.

Spores don't mate all that easily in LCs. It might be a good idea to let them grow out a bit and mate before breaking up even an LC inoc.
