I don't know much about kundalini experiences but I do know the geat mind altering expeirences a person can feel from time to time, to marvel at the beauty of life and the world around us. You are very lucky to experience this first hand. If life was made of many experiences like that people would not need drugs.

"i was desperate for some relief from the headaches and emotional agonies from the altered states."
How's about the next time you feel like overdoing it, you just send the superfluous substances my way?
But yes, that sounds like quite a delightful revelation you had. I can't say as that I've experienced the thing with the hands or the compulsion to say namasté, but I suppose that depends on what you put stock in. Certainly I know where you're coming from with the "duing that time my mother asked me a few questions which seemed to b answered by someone else, it was like i was obseving mysaelf answer from a higher position" bit though. You aren't the one answering, but there's no cause for concern that you may be saying the wrong thing, you can just feel the situation taking care of itself, that type of thing? Evidence of 'other' is always pleasant and reassuring, I find, even if (or should I say particularly when) it's not objectively proovable.

really? I'd been feeling pretty messed up all yesterday and up through this afternoon. Then I went outside and listened to the Grateful Dead for about 3 hours, and I forgot why I had been feeling so terrible.

that's wonderful.
i have experience with being moved. it happens to me during yoga and tai chi. at first i thought it was my respective teachers doing this moving through me, and it may be... but it may be the tai chi and the yoga doing the moving through me, and that yoga and tai chi is learning how to let yoga and tai chi move YOU and that's what the masters realize and utilize with time....
it's all interconnected.
namaste is said after yoga practice
last tai chi, I was confused about the new move we were doing, and I looked at what he was doing with his hands, yet did it backwards instinctually, and he looked at me and he seemed to realize "hmm this is the way" and he changed to how I was... yet I had no idea what I was doing....
he's not the main instructor, the main instructor is lurking somewhere... not sure where he is.... but sometimes I feel like I have a connection to him. not that i'm great at form.... just in terms of sometimes being able to be moved.... randomly....
-------------------- I am the MacDaddy of Heimlich County, I play it Straight Up Yo! ....I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human...... Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!

Oh, man, how about when you get a whole big room of people all doing tai chi in unison and you can FEEL all the energy coursing through you and leaping from person to person? That's something really special in my books.
Never tried yoga, myself. I'm sure it's a good time, too.
