Sorry to post in the wrong forum, but i tried cultivation and i got swamped before anyone could answer. Alright i went over to my friends house the other day and he had a fishtank with pinheads coming up. he had scooped up some cow shit and put it in a fishtank because his unle told him it would work. He left the tank open in his closet for about a month keeping it wet and sure enouph pins started coming up 2 days ago very aggresivley. To help i taped a window screen over the top of the tank and taped a clear bag over that so he could mist it.I also told him to put a lamp over it a few hours a day. We sprayed it a few times with tap water, but if i remember right the clorine is supposed to kill them? Is there anything we can do to help his mystery shrooms? Fun guys eat fungis

Your friend's mystery mushrooms might well be poisonous mushrooms. The way you describe it it's a basic biology experiment which may give any kind of a host of mushroomspecies. He shouldn't think they're Shrooms since that's unlikely if no species was specifically introduced. Eating unidentified mushrooms may well lead to serious injury or death. Chlorine may be removed by boiling the water, cooling & shaking it to oxygenate. If he can't identify them (an expert's job) eating is out of the question. The wrong forum indeed, but a fun experiment, tho...

I have used tap water and a peroxide solution to mist my bags and they seem to love it.

Of course, None taken. I'm sorry if i came off as defensive or something. I can understand the warning after reading about all these people who are like: "I found some funny lookin mushrooms so i ate a handfull of them so i could hear the music and stuff" People are stupid
