Any info on Psychotria Nervosa?

well as of recent my interests have grown towards the mighty ayahuasca. after much research i was astonished to find what looked identical to psychotria viridis growing in my front yard. turns out its psychotria nervosa, the "wild coffe bean".
does anyone have any first hand experience or usefull information on the alkaloid content of this plant? a google search leaves me kind of dry on the subject. from what i can find there is dmt in the plant, there is just no real scientific data anywhere to say there is/isnt. http://forums.ayahuasca.com/phpbb/viewto...1c4e7776365cfbb
this plant grows like a weed out here in south florida. i have several plants 3 feet tall and 2ft across, hundreds of leaves. I plan on using it in a brew, i just would hate to go through all the trouble and end up having a dud.
i would just do an extraction to test it but i havent the supplies or funds to manage it.
so, anyone?

Something funny's going on with my messages , I had added a line to this thread yesterday but it isn't here. I had tried to say that I'm not familiar with Psychotria Nervosa only Psychotrias Carthagenesis and Viridis. Both of these contain DMT though whether your Nervosa does I don't know. You could try finding out which other type of Psychiotra it is most closely related to, though you'll never know if it is DMT & other alkaloid containing without making up a batch of ayahausca and giving it a try. It sounds like you're sorted for leaves so good luck.

beware! many plants of the psychotria genus are highly toxic, don“t take it specially with MAOI, it could be fatal. you could research more on TLC (thin layer chromatography), so that you can find if theres any DMT or whatever else in your plant. good luck!

well i know for fact the berries from this plant are used as a caffeine free coffee alternative, do you suppose the leaves could be harmful and not the fruit?

over here the psychotria seeds are used as rat poison. i see the goats eat the leaves (P. alba probably), but not the fruits... be careful and try to read a bit about TLC, theres no way back if you take poison with MAOI (or without).
