Pressure Cooked cake mush
    #5863033 - 07/15/06 09:07 PM (17 years, 6 months ago)

i've switched to a bigger pressure cooker and I seem to be having some trouble. I follow the same procedure as I did before but after 45 minutes in this PC the cake seems to be watery and gooey with a strong scent of BRF in the PC. Has anyone had this probelm before? help ? :/

Thats what it sounds like to me. How high up the jars is the water level before u put on the PC lid? Ive put too much water in and had the same problems.

Your not suppose to screw the lids tight! That may be your whole problem, your not letting the steam escape.

thought thats what the holes in the lid are for(can be for)? infact i would think it would help to keep water out that way(cann't climb up the screw ladder)
