weird dream/waking up experience

this morning i was dreaming about someone jogging or running, just a dark shadow. well i woke up in the middle of it and the lighting was perfect, and i opened my eyes just perfect, that the guy jogging i actually saw with my eyes OPEN for a split second. like the guy made it maybe 1 or 2 steps and turned into smoke and disapeeared real fast. so i pretty much saw what i was dreaming when i woke up for a split second. i have never had this happen before and was wondering if anyone else has had this happen before?

Yeah I've had stuff like that happen to me before.. except last night was even weirder. I had a dream that this girl I saw last night (and have this thing for, heh) sent me something on myspace and I read it (my dreams are really really weird... they go from pretty much every imaginable situation to the next). well I couldn't quite recall what it read in entirety, but at the end it said "did you have a long night?" Well when I wake up, I check my cell phone, and in it there's a text message from her saying "did you have a long night?" It was pretty weird. . .

When i was young, I used to frequently see a ghost of a girl when i woke up. Or if I was having a nightmare of some sort, it would sort of follow me when i woke up for a few seconds. Sort of like a waking dream hallucination. Crazy stuff.

Soulcircus, thats pretty crazy, you were experiencing false awakenings.
I find the dream world so facinating.

I had a dream that the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland was converted into a shark ride where there were animatronic sharks in the water.
Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it.

I have lucid dreams once and a while. But when I do I just normally change what I want, and let the dream go back to being a dream. So that I don't wake up.
Morality gets in the way too. One recent dream I was in my house, and I was like... wait wait wait this is a dream. I should fuck someone. But my mom was right there so I snapped my fingers to open my front door, and ran outside to fuck whomever I choose, but my mom followed me. This is when I went un-lucid and I needed to go to work! So she drove me to work. No laid for me.

Conor King, Victoria police drug expert. "They react like you or I would react if we took Aspirin and all of a sudden the TV got up and started walking across the room." - - - Make drugs legal, or alcohol and tobacco illegal. Either way it's more fair.

This happens often for me, when I sleep at a time with tons of distractions. I can pretty much dream while awake, seeing the room around me with my eyes closed. It's pretty sick.
