The worst thing that could happen is one of the kids could have an asthma attack or something else like that unforeseen and need to goto the hospital. At which point I'd have to hide all my shit and call an ambulance being unable to drive safely.
That said, I wouldn't do any thumbprints or anything like that without getting a babysitter.
Doesn't your wife stay sober while you're tripping though?

Rotties are not necessarily a mean breed. they are definitely more territorial for the most part, but there are the exceptions to every breed. i've met many rotties that are the sweetest, most loving dogs.
but the particular rottie in question, i'm sure not mean to begin with, was chained up and isolated from the world. that's enough to make anyone a little pissy. i feel bad that the dog had to be put down, but in cases like this, it's necessary.
then again, with a babysitter, things wouldn't have gone down like they did.

What ever happened with this? Are the parents going to be charged with anything? And did it ever make the news anywhere?

All I have to say is this:
Lets forget the dog.
Lets forget the LSD.
They swung an infant (2mo old!) around and *dropped* him. That right there is the negligence, in my mind. Why the dropped him (could be the acid, could just be a bad coincidence with sweaty palms), or what happened after the drop are not near as important in proving that the parents are responsible than simply realizing that the parents put their baby in a danger by doing something dangerous with it, and had to pay for the consequences when everything possible went wrong. And since the mother, and only the mother, was swinging her child around, and since the child cannot be held responsible due to his age, the mother is therefore the *only* person that could be responsible, if anyone at all. Not the acid, not the dog. Just the person who swung and dropped the baby.
Do I think she should be punished for it? I don't really know. I wasn't there. For all I know, it could have been an honest accident or intentional. Most likely it was an honest accident, but it was an accident that was allowed to happen due to the mother doing something foolish. Whether she should be punished for it is up to the DA and 12 men, I suppose.
Which is also why I don't really believe this story. Parents trip of acid and accidentally kill a child, and the gov't is just going to do nothing?
(For the record, I stopped reading this thread about 15 pages in, so some new stuff may have been posted that I'm not aware of, although I did read this last thread page.)

I feel worse for the parents then I do for the baby
sure they fucked up but its not like they were purposely tossing their kid into the dogs mouth...it was a stupid mistake but I do believe it was an accident..but I wasn't there

So it's either made up or didn't make the news... can't you request a police report from the town it occured in? Those are public record, no?

It seems so. The thread creator is trash if that's the case.
