I went huntng tonight and i found a very large amount of Pan Subbs and a few copes. And in the hay feeding areas, several cubes. But i also found tons and tons of another strand that i have never seen before. They were growing in the hay that was strewn about from the bails of hay. Some grw from dung, others from around it. Very conical caps with a brown nipple and the rest f the cap was an off white, almost yellow white. The stems were white as well, hollow and dindt bruse. Gills are a tan to pine color. I am making a spore print now.

The picture were taken in the field with my camera phone, so... I dont expect much.

They might be a conocybe and should be regarded as poisonous, be careful to separate them from your other finds.

The spore print, habitat, and general appearance suggest Bolbitius, possibly Bolbitius vitellinus.

The color is a give away for Bolbitius. They used to really confuse me, but now whenever I see a yellow mushroom that looks like a mix between Conocybe and Coprinus, I know I have found a Bolbitius.

I bet one day I'll stumble upon this and remeber your advice! I hope so anyway... Hmmm, perhaps I have come across this mushroom in a lawn and tossed it aside thinking " 'nother Conocybe!"
Heh, Good to know.

Do you have any pictures of that?
And what state did you find all these in?
