Think I might have found some subbs might be foes though I am not for sure so i figured I post em. Also if it's not a 100% certian if they are subbs or foes will foes make me sick if I eat them?
Habitat: Nitorgen fertilized grass with sprinkler system Gills: dark brown to almost black younger specimans were lighter in color Stem: light brown turned completely dark red shortly after picking Cap: brown purple ring around it
Spore print color: black picture is taken in darker light
Bruising: red in stem Location: Picked in Michigan

Print looked slightly darker than in the picture bad lighting? My camera kind of sucks to.

Look for the spore print color comparison.
You sure that the spore print is jet black, and not just dark brown? I have a feeling that you have foenisecii, as it is far more common. For some reason your spore print pic even looks dark brown to me! It could have something to do with my monitor and color settings though.

Subbalteatus on the left, foenisecii on the right. Note how the gills on the foens are lower than the margin. (Photos by: falseaddiction & Gumby) Copied that from the link you sent me. The gills on mine are not lower than the margin of the cap. The print also looked a little darker than what it did when I posted it. I am still uncertian about completely jet black Then again I only let the spores drop for about an hour a half.

That's brown man. Wishful thinking won't change panaeolina foenisecii into Panaeolus subbalteatus.

Those spores are awfully brown for subbs. Looking at that pic of the caps only it almost even looks like Psathyrella velutina.

The picture of the print really doesn't represent the color of the actual print. I am not sure if it's my camera or my monitor but it shows up a lot lighter. I am almost certian it's not jet black either. Maybe an extremely dark brown would be a better way to put it. Anyways I don't think there dark enough to be subbs, excited me at first because I had printed some foes before and the print was a little lighter than what I got this time.
