i have a lot of bass in my car and my rearview mirror always moves down when it hits. i was wondering if superglue or rubber cement could fix this or if there were any other tricks to keep my mirror up (w/o turning the bass down)

I can flash/jtag/repair 360's, pm for details.

Though they may stop it moving for a little while, you wouldn't be able to adjust it and it would probably rattle itself loose very soon.

There is a kind of tacky grease I used to have that would probably work perfectly on the ball joint of a rear view mirror. It was somewhat thick but it had a very strong hold so it could be worked with and into joints, fittings, etc., but never dry out. If you got it on your fingers and touched them together it was difficult to pull them apart. It was like a glue that never dried and tape that stayed sticky all in one.

Alas, I don't know what it was called or what it was for and I've found several uses for some since then but never able to find out what it was. If someone knows what I'm talking about or can point me to a product like that I would be grateful.

replace your rear view mirror with an after market mirror. it will have a stiffer adjustment.
