Ok.. shoomerities.
I just bought one bunk Panasonic 5-Disc DVD changer wouldn't even play DVD-R's
Anyone own a decent reasonably price DVD changer they'd recommend - I've read many internet reviews but am still really confused.
DVD-R , DVD+R and CD-R compatibility is most important to me. Along with high quality outputs.
Thanks in advance.

Save your money for HD-DVD or Blu-Ray.

My Panasonic F65 plays DVD-R's just fine.
Look in your spec sheet. Is DVD-R listed? If so you probably got a bad one.
Try a DVD-R recorded on a friends machine first before condemming your player.
I use Nero 6.something, Roxio 8, and DVD clone. All work well.

Ok I traded mine in. Panasonic F87 is my model. This one is working better except for playing a lightly scratched dvd that plays fine on my $20 cheapo DVD player in my bedroom for $110 the shit should work better.

Check this out. You'd have to wait a while but its sweet. (Oh yeah, and its not a changer, but it'll write just about anything that even looks like a cd)
Optical device could help read most disk formats
