 Sneaking weed on commercial airline

What's the likelyhood that my friend is going to get caught trying to sneak a quad (7g) of weed by checking a bag domestic flight (with all his usual clothes and shit in there too of course. I think no way are they going to catch him unless he has some electronics or large metal objects in there. I told him to double bag it with vicks vapor rub in-between in case a dog wants to smell it. Anyone have experience with this?

The vicks vapor rub wouldnt do jack shit.
Dogs can smell each smell individually meaning he would smell vicks vapor rub AND pot.
I agree with Corporal. Go the oven bag route.

You can do two things. Either buy a candle and melt the wax. Double bag the weed and melt the weed in the bottom of the candle so its no visible. Get petroleum jelly in a container (not tube) and stickit in the bottom of the goop.

wrap in electric tape and lube nicely then stick it up your pooper. I'd never do it but hey if your desperate enough.

Good ideas really but how exactly would you melt the inside bottom of the candle? I mean...quickly before you loose interest and waste 5 hours sitting there

I don't really see how to burn out a hole out of a candle though and then fill up the top again but it is basically foolproof unless a dog sniffs it out!

Well...as risky as it may be...I did that very thing when my mom was dying...I took some weed onto a commercial airline. I wrapped it in bubble wrap and folded it into a pair of socks and put it into the middle of my cloths. I checked my baggage at the front desk and it was never detected. However, I only took about 3 grams.
One thing to always remember when flying is that if you purchase a last minute flight at the airport they always flag you. You will always be asked "step to the side"...a little insight on flying!
