what is a good ratio for spawn to hpoo/straw mix in a large mycofactory mycobag. also, i use mycobags for my spawn. im going to get the 4lb corn bag. will these be enough for 4 or 5 poo bags?

I would assume 1LB per quart. though its probably closer to 1.2-1.4LBS per Quart.

using a 1:4 ratio of spawn to poo i would need 1.25 pounds of spawn for 5 pounds of hpoo/straw correct? how much does a small grain based mycobag from mycofactory.com weigh?

It's not all that critical...

The more wbs/corn you use, the faster the poo will colonize, and the less time for contaminates to take hold. the less wbs/corn you use, the longer it takes, and the risk for contaminations goes up.

the standard is 1:4, and I go by volume, not by weight and it's worked for me so far.

ie: I just did a few bulk subs... 1.5 quarts of coir to 1 pint of wbs, and that's colonizing very fast. and I just did 2 pints of hpoo with 1/2 pint of z-strain wbs... it's already colonizing and it's only been about 14 hours...

corn is inferior for spawning, since corn is so bulky, it provides less spawning points when mixed with poo... rye is great for spawning to poo, but still a little big. I'm using WBS because each little grain is another spawn point, and those little millet grains are so small they get mixed in really well... the two different 1.5quarts of coir to 1 pint of wbs spawns i'm doing right now are about 80 percent after 3 days...
