through the introduction, use, control and guidance of psychedelic drugs phase one a large scale production and distribution of mushrooms followed by the Timothy Leary of his time spreading words of love and unity causing many Americans to rejoice as we did once upon a time
or is the mentality of todays youth too influenced by rap and caused everyones selfish egos to rise far too high?

Like how the people from the 60's couldn't even end up changing themselves from becoming the people they hated. Plants can't change people, people need to change themselves. Information is the key, not drugs. The internet is doing a really good job of changing the world, but most people don't want to be changed, which is know different than everyone here. How many people could be argued into being racist, or thinking that the drug war is a good thing? Oh and the biggest problem with using drugs as a solution is that they wear off, and people need to be willing to take them, which if they are they are probally already willing to change.

I take offense to your blaming rap for the rise of egocentricity in American culture. The root is MUCH deeper, and mainstream rap merely a reflection of corporations pushing consumerism down youths' unsuspecting throats.
/brief rant
P.S. I know you're tripping; don't worry, I'm not taking myself too seriously.

My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

I read the first part, I was just saying that drugs arean't as big a factor as information. I was more or less replying to the title though, but I read the whole post. Let us not forget that Timothy Leary fucked LSD's chances of being used for medical applications, as well as the other tryptamines. Not to knock him for it cause he didn't know, but LSD might be used in medicine today if Leary didn't hype it up.

not really man..... they wouldn't know what it was, once this figure started tripping they'd definitely figure out how to negate it, abort it, etc, though.
it would be pretty horrible and strange to get dosed with 700 ug..... the poor dude would probably have so many issues come up at once...... it'd be insane.
