Colonization - Oxygen?

Currently a guy I know has 12 jars, that started about 4 days ago with the PESA strain. The lids are very tight, and the punched holes have been resealed with tape. My question to all of you is: Do we need to loosen the lids on the jars or let some air in? We currently have them incubating in about 3 inches of water, with the heater set to about 83, could the humidity be over 70%? Let me know if we're doin something wrong, or if I'm just getting impatient...

well afoaf had two hole and then a filter disk around the lid with a rubber band . .he wasnt gettin any colonization (taz and eqs) of the jars(he innoc out of spore print) and then he decicded to loosen the lids only a little (he has two piece lids and plus the filter disk is over the top . .its is a coffee filter two of em and they hang over the jars and are tightened by the rubberband) and then he flipped the jars and now they colonizing hella fast in his incubator!!
