pint jars will take longer to colonize, but yes.
id recommend grabbing a case of half-pinters though...like 8 or 10 bucks at walmart

that depends on quite a few different factors.
id say about 2-3 weeks average, give or take a few days

should be plenty, maybe too much.
i always cook mine for exactly 60 minutes. 2 pf grows, 0 contams

just get a big stock pot and put something heavy (a cinderblock) works great on the lid, i didnt have a pc for my first grow either. everything went fine

You DO NOT want two hours, you can hydrate the dry vermiculite layer (it's not guarnteed you will but you're upping your chances) just decrease the number of jars you put in for full sterilisation, don't heat them up for any more than an hour, you'll be doing yourself a disservice and may actually cause contams instead of preventing them.

positive. I don't you a PC either, it actually isn't nescarry with the PF tek, a boiling pot for an hour is more than enough.
