Arguing Tyranny with Tyranny does not make it right or better. The sad truth is our future police officers are raping people right now in IRAQ, and Afghanistan they are beating and torturing people in IRAQ and Afghanistan. No amount of tyranny is good. Weither it be someones grow op getting busted, someones mother getting raped by police officers....
karma's a bitch.
Possession of unprocessed hallucinogenic mushrooms in the Netherlands is legal. But the U.S. military prohibits servicemembers from possessing or using the drugs even if they are in a country in which the drugs are legal.
I think drugs should be legal, but that sitll doesnt mean people should be doing them all the time.
Apparently you have not been to an off post military party. I lived in Honolulu 8 years and attended many shroom parties in Kanaeohe and Kailua, on Oahu, and theses parties were frequented my many military personnel including officers and midshipman.
When I wrote my papers n Hawaiian shrooms and use, Mark Merlinand I even talked to the Provost Marshall and Adjutant General of the Kanaeohe baase about drug use by the military. They denied such use, yet military personal were arrested on numerous occasions in Oahu for picking magic mushrooms. Some of those news clippings are on file at the mj shroom world Grape vine of news clippings. The military do not test for shrooms or acid so a lot would eat them.
So I doubt that you have been to parties with gi's.
Also Viet-Nam, Heroin adn pot wetresmoked everyday by at least a third of those who were there fighting.
I smoked pot with others and mortal shells gcould be heard going off int he foreground. Lts. walked by, we saluted and they smiled.
I am sure a lot of gi's in Iraq smoke hash every now and then. This girl was obviously snitched on by someone who went with her to Amsterdam.
Remember that loose lips sink ships.

You are confusing civilian life with military life. They are nowhere near the same. Along with the "right to use shrooms" comes responsibility. When she signed up for the military, she gave up her "right to use shrooms" until her discharge...........
BULLSHIT... It's illegal no matter what your current citizenship's status is, military OR civilian. Being in the military is very much like any other job. You get up, go to work in the morning, get off in the afternoon and go home. Your weekends are yours to go where you please. Screw your double standard. How this soldier chooses to spend her off time should be her decision
As someone who grew up in the military, I agree with these statements. It really IS a lot like other jobs. I have friends that lived near Rammstein. Holland *is* a bit of a trek away, it would have required off time. Soldiers need to unwind, too, or maybe even especially.
