dessicant question - calcium chloride

used damp-rid product for a while to dry my mushies but it never said the ingrediant.
isn't it just white calcium chloride pellets?
you can buy a 20 lb. bag for $1.00 at walmart!
this is safe to use to dry right?

i use damp-rid, and it says calcium chloride right on the carton.

my damp rid doesnt say anything
i even had my roommate read the carton and she said it doesnt say c.c. either...i thought i was just droned
