At the moment I'd have to say "To Mourn the Death of Colour" by Tear Garden.
But that's a choice that would change every day.

"Beside You in Time" -Nine Inch Nails
"Heathen [the rays]" -David Bowie
"Sulfer Trail" -Sauce of the Future
Sorry, that was three, but I can't pick just one. All these songs are special

Yes - Roundabout
but even still I'm second guessing my choice
the whole fragile album is a good place to start...

Without a doubt it would be Pink Floyd - Echoes. To me, that's the best tripping song. It's 23 1/2 minutes long which means you'd only have to hear it about 15 or so times on a 6 hour trip.

1983 (a merman I should turn to be) - Jimi Hendrix
That whole side of Electric Ladyland is astounding, it starts with "Rainy Day, Dream Away", segues through "1983" and "Moon turn the tides...gently gently away" and recapitulates to "Still Raining, Still dreaming" - blowing your mind in the process!

I don't think that I could listen to Pigs (Three Different Ones) while tripping. I don't think that I could listen to anything off of Animals except for Pigs on the Wing. I've never tried, but I know it would be a bad idea. It's just too intense and the lyrics would probably send me spiraling down a fast path towards hell.

The best of Pink Floyd album called Echoes? I'm not aware of there being a vinyl single for the song Echoes, but I could b e wrong. If it is the best of album, they butcher the song Echoes on it all to hell.
