The Fiery Furnaces. Especially their most recent CD, Bitter Tea.
One of the best psychedelic mind fucks in recent years, IMO.

LSD on the other hand is best enjoyed with Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Muse, Tool...anything deep and long.
lol YOU MUST LISTEN TO SHITTY MUSIC OR DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT MUSIC THEN .
You can't just judge some one like that. People CAN be different you know.
Maybe another time i'll try to listen to music while tripping, but when I did lsd I really wasn't up for it....maybe because i was being amazed by everything else..

for me everything sounds better and i can seperate each instrument and know exactly why it was put in the organized manner that it is in. but im a fucking music addict to the max.
That is your opinion, and that's all good and well, but it does not give you the right to claim superiority. Humble yourself, for god's sake! I have also had trips where music didn't quite do it for me. Again, it's all about set & setting.

I find that certian genres of music simply dont go good with tripping. However, which genres go good with tripping and dont may also largely change from person to person.
I remeber during Toronto Pride, I did some mush and went down to the street party. One of the DJs was playing, bleh - dont know what. But my brain simply couldnt make sense of the music. It just felt like a barrage of clashy sounds in my head that had no rhyme or reason. Everyone else around me was going off like it was the best set ever and I couldnt help but think 'huh?'.
Then again, I do recall one time seeing Michale Goodwin on shrooms, it felt like I was being attacked by music - but in the best possible way
