Has anyone ever tried the Neimad Method ? My bird was thinking about doing this tek. Basically, it calls for innoculating the water used in the substrate. She already has some jars incubating (Treasure Coast), but she wanted to do some more. The other syringe she has is Matias Romero. She was thinking about doing the Neimad tek, because it claims to take such a short time to fully colonize the cake with this method. The Treasure Coast jars that are incubating are her first... Should she just back off and wait for them to finish? Also, with the 10 TC jars she has, once they are completed, should she just do them as cakes, or try a few as casings? Thanks for the replies :smile:

My minister used treasure coast. He was telling the church about how the jars took a lot longer than 2 weeks. It was risky with contam probablity with that extra time it took. But he said once it completed, around 5-6 weeks, he got them, cased them and got very good size fruits. He preached that the TCs didn't even need fanning and they came out beautifully big. If done in cake form, dont forget to dunk in water or brown rice milk and leave in refridge for a night. Good luck. And my minister is praying for your sucess.

It wont colonize your cakes any faster. It may germinate faster due to the larger and more spread out amount of spores in the substrate (which I guess could colonize faster) but its really dependent upon presterilization and really risky.
