Mushroom #1 has a fair chance of being Panaeolus subbalteatus. Unfortunately those specimens are not in their prime if you know what I mean. The second one looks like Coprinus but the color of the print doesn't seem to key out.

If species #1 is Panaeolus subbalteatus, what is some other information you can give me about that mushroom.

So are they magic mushrooms? I have a lot more of that species growing out front that are in way better condition then the ones in the first picture, so if they are going to make me trip then i want to go pick some today.
thanks for the help so far.

Yeah Nateboy that second set of pics helps A LOT. I would say with 99 percent certainty that those are subbalteatus. Make sure that you spore print each and every one that you find though and keep the stems with the correct caps. You want ABSOLUTE black. Not super dark brown. Note the hair-like fibrils on the relativley thick stem(in comparison to foenisecii), that is the give away but still print them.

They are most potent when eaten fresh.
