Was just wondering if anyone has ever done puerto ricans PF-tek style, meaning with BRF&verm. Anyone with experience with this strain growing in this substrate, please help as i need to know about the yield and how the potency was. -Victor

I am still waiting for my cakes to pinn completely, but i used the brwn rice/ vermiculate. It colonized very fast, and from what I have heard and read they are supposed to be quite potent. I should probally get some done within 3 weeks, I will post a response on the potency.

The fruits themselves are very intense and sexual, but as for growing, the strin IMO is very inconsistent. The fruits may grow like fat-tales, or they may grow textbook. These observations come from my friends growing experience from two separate vendors stock and grown on birdseed then spawn to wheat straw/ BRF and birdseed to wheat straw/ whole Brown rice and spawned to compost/ and finally cakes. Not one consistentcy yet. The fruits tend to grow fat and hardly open caps on some casings, some grow textbook, while others look wrinkled and not to appealing. But they all tend to be potent. Not my friends choice for a good strain though in her opinion of course. But granted the spores were purchased when the purto ricans first came onto the shroomery scene, so this may be old data, my friend has moved on to other strains.:)bluhoney
