Explain CEV's

I'd like for someone to explain how they see CEV's because i had expected them totally different than what i had seen.
On my first trip on L, though i was tripping visually, it seemed like i was more free in my CEV's(or what i think CEV's are). What had was seeing what my mind would think up but not in the sense that i would see it in that black screen that is there when you normally close your eyes, but these visuals actually seemed there, and i was in it. Sort of like a dream. Is this how you describe CEV's, or are they more of somehting you see in that black screen?

CEVs are patterns I see in the dark or with closed eyelids. One in fact can see things while not tripping, psychedelics power that noise and amplify it (among other things).
When this amplification is powerful enough, that noise emerges even with open eyes and sunshine. The noise takes over the original optic signal.
What you experience is common. Sometimes, when looking at CEVs, I can't tell if I'm seeing or just imagining. Reason? It's a bit of both things.

I'm not sure about that noise. I think it only shows how your mind works - fractal, kaleidoscopic, full of patterns. Besides when you are very deep in trance watching your CEVs they somewhat disappear and change into visions of places, people or something like that.

What you are describing is what is known as Fantasy. This is where all the storys that you hear come from, you know, like "I was flying over landscapes" or "And then a pyramid raised up from the ground!"
This is the best kind of tripping. That is how you contact the spirits. That is what McKenna's "Heroic" 5g dose in pitch blackness is meant to bring you into.
After a few experiences with it, you can learn to direct the Fantasy and play with your mind.

Yes, fractal, kaleidoscopic, whatever. But those things need a "seed value" to start from. When deprived from optical stimuli, only noise is left.

I really haven't had CEV's and I've tripped 6 times on Shrooms. I really want to get some but I just haven't. Do Shrooms not give you any CEV's? The closest thing I think I came to haveing CEV's was on Salvia when I closed my eyes I could still see around me.

brain works by resonance matching in a holographic response field. there is no real separation between vision and hearing etc when it comes to holographic resonance, so the following explanation also depends upon the acceptance of synaesthesia which we all probably admit to have experienced to some degree (some call it the membrane).
anyway, CEV just means closed eye visuals. there is a huge range which I prefer to divide into 3 intensities.
low resonance extension - i.e. normal state of mind just leaves phosphenes and vague transients like dots and afterimages (the basic noise nothing special in the way of CEV). Signals fade away usually within 1/15th of a second.
medium resonance extension - i.e. a great grass buzz or a medium salvia effect or a medium peak lsd state of mind, two things happen (Signals fade away after persisting for around 1/4 a second. to a full second): 1. the extended life of sustained noise waves interacts by creating lines (where wave interference is greater) like neon color or hieroglyphics, nearly readable letters or cartoonies, and 2. the holographic processing echoes the motifs (it always seeks motif) in a repeated way like wallpaper. this can range from colored squiggles to highly detailed action characters. what goes into it is synaesthetic from afterimages, from music or sound, sensation and even memories including smell etc.
CEV's and OEV's are the same, most people ignore OEV's unless they are very strong.
intense resonance extension - when intensely affected by a psychedelic one gets into the more delerious effects, the wallpaper motifs are replaced initially by graphic cartoon worlds (usually in CEV's only) and then by full blown dream scenes or delerium which will affect the psychonaut with opened or closed eyes. (at this stage Signals fade away usually after persisting for around 2 seconds to 3 seocnds and often other beings are sensed as very strong presences or seem to be right there in flesh):
well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

What I have seen for CEVs:
Really cool flowers - a neon outline of flowers (green and red) on a black background with evenly spaced small dots (as a very sparse shading) blowing in the wind, dancing, breathing. Flight of the neon bumblebee from the perspective of the bumblebee. Dancing.
Patterns - really cool segmented patterns/lines flowing and warping around, moving to the pattern of this audio loop I had in my head, which was a song made of the sound of me creaking springs in my bed. The song made itself after I briefly creaked around a little.
A gobliny thing! Right when one trip turned into the huddle up and cry phase, I saw this neat green goblin thing that was pretty cool.
Salvia- Another segmenty thing that flowed, except instead of just seeing it I just felt it, like I knew it was there without seeing it, and I was it. Really shows you how awareness is not a body. Awareness is the Absolute.
So mainly, what I have experienced as far as CEVs is a lot of breathing and flowing. Everything flows and is neon and stuff. It's cool. Surely there are more I have forgotten. Actually at one point I remembered feeling like a Hawaiian who had taken the sacred mushroom, it was like feeling like part of a different society of people. That same night I had one of my coolest OEVs, I looked over to my friend and it was like he was being drawn in black ink on a white sheet of paper, several lines at a time. It was very artistic and there were straight edge lines drawn around, as if they had been used to guide drawing the picture. Then part of him was colored in. For example, he was wearing glasses and one of his lenses remained white while the other was colored in. Very cool.
But mostly, everything dances and breathes and comes alive.

You will get way more out of your journeys closed eye,in darkness/blindfolded.Let it take you, and remember to breathe. Peace n love,Kija.
