What are your desires for life?

I seriously want to know what my fellow Shroomerites want to accomplish in their lives. Do you want to make a lot of money and be super successful? Do you want to live like a gypsy vagabond? Do you want a family and a comfortable home? Do you want to live a life of pure fun and hedonism? Do you want to live a life of spiritual piety? Are there any specific things that you wish to do in the long term?

I wan't to get some money, get a house, somewhere with very mild winters, have a wife, maybe a kid, play some music and mess around with computers and electronics. Early retirement is my main goal.

It sounds as if you want a very normal and comfortable life. Does it bother you that you might accomplish nothing of grand importance if you were to lead such a life? Would you be content with being normal?

I want alot of people to care when i die,
so i guess i have to be famous.
If i have to be famous,
i guess i would either want to be a chemist or a musician.
doesnt look like either are likely....
so i just dont want to be a drug addict, or in jail

My #1 desire is to stop making goodbye posts on the Shroomery and then crawling back a week later.

I want to make a lot of money.
And with the money, retire early and basically be on vacation 24/7.

If I do something of grand importance, I don't think I'll ever see it coming, we all have the potential to move the world, it just happens to work that way for very few people. I wouldn't mind at all being famous, or important, or remembered, as long as my family was happy with it, I think it would be alright.

I want to create a band/become a successful musician. By successful I mean that I can use the sales of my music to support a comfortable life.
Also the whole rock star thing That would kick ass.
I'd like to meet/marry the love of my life, have lots of kids. Get a house in the country with a nice view. Get some pet dogs and cats.
Own a decent car. Own a sportbike and a cruiser.
Have a cottage. Have my best friend have his cottage right next to mine. Have pig roasts every summer. Host huge parties to create memories!
Live in Canada.
Have a home recording studio.
lol this is like a wishlist for Christmas hah
But I think the most important thing I see right now is to become memorable with my music. Ya know how like a really good classic rock song comes on and everyone is like "Ahh I love this song!!"
That's what I want when my songs are played.
Oh yeah -- I also want to make at least 1 album specifically geared towards tripping.

I would like to try stand-up comedy. But I never won't 'cause I can't choose to be funny all the time, only when I don't give a fuck about anything. All my friends say I should do and my English teacher just mentioned it the other day too after reading some humorous observations down as an exercise.
I also want a woman to be an exclusive life partner with me (I don't believe in the institution of marriage) and explore tantric practices. I would also like to teach too I think. I think I would make a great teacher.
P.S. It's good to have you back Randal, I was having to take the misogynistic reigns all to myself....

I originally typed that too... I had to correct it.
What would you like to teach?
I would like to teach history or Consciousness 101.

My desires for my life include...
Seeing my daughter grow up. I wont let anyone take that away form me.
Other then that, I want to minimize. I have too much as it is. SO.... Minimize debt. HAH.
I guess id like a Vespa to go to the grocery store in.
Id like all my grows to turn out super duper.
Id like to not be a dick to anyone, but I do it and I dont even know how.
Even when Im being nice I manage to be a dick to someone.
So my real desire for life is for other people and myself.
Dont take it or anything to seriously, unless the situation calls for it. Because their are no absolutes in the world of human culture/relationships/society. Just wierd constantly changing guidelines.
yup!

I'll always work, it keeps my head straight and makes me feel good. But, I want to be really rich while remaining humble.

I want to write the Great American Novel.
Well, one of them, at least.
