Meh, just tossed some amount in there. At least I have unbleached filters... the last I knew, we didn't have any, and was thinking I'd have to use a paper towel...
I'm such a newb.
Peace.

And finally, beware "city roast" and flavored coffees. These are often made of the cheap stuff shoveled off the back of a truck and roasted a bit darker or flavored artificially to cover up the smell of diesel fumes that have infused the beans during transit.

Just asking, because I see them at Wal*Mart, and Wal*Mart is the only life I experience...
My coffee is done. At least the hazelnut and diesel smell nice. I'm afraid for my life, as far as drinking it is concerned.... Into the abyss, I guess!
Peace.

Truly horrific stuff, going to dump it out right now, and go cook myself some bratwurst and sauerkraut!
At first this talk of coffee was ensuring that this thread was trending away from "Worst thread ever!", but now that my stomach has been poisoned, the proclamation stands.
Should have added in the acid.
Peace.

Your stomach will produce plenty of acid after that beverage.

I feel like painting my kitchen, but I don't feel like moving the stove and the frigidaire out in order to paint behind them... should I just skip that step?
You should see my living room, I'll upload pictures once we get the camera developed. We painted it a nice cream color as a base, and then I went back over it with a greyish-blue, utilizing a texture sponge. Most satisfying ambience.
Peace.

Hey, it's your kitchen. The appliances are likely to stay where they are, so only you will know that you didn't paint behind them.

I suspect I'll be in the minority with this assertion, but coffee beans are the turds of the devil. What it sounds like you're looking to relax with a cup of as you get your today planned in the mornings is TEA. Tea contains less caffeine than coffee, so it is likely to be less habit-forming (though that doesn't prevent me from being a tea-addict) and I've heard that, whereas the caffeine in coffee just triggers an adrenal rush, tea caffeine actually increases your blood cells efficacity in carrying oxygen, improving the efficiency of your metabolism. That's why tea makes you feel more alert, whereas coffee makes you feel more active. If you find tea to be a little too weak for your morning routine, try drinking it out of old pickle or mason jars to get the right dose going. They make teacups way the hell too small. I'd highly recommend the looseleaf varieties of tea over bag tea of any sort, but either one will do in a pinch. A nice, mellow, pretty-smelling tea to start off with would be Earl Grey or a fruity Rooibos. If you want something to force your eyelids open and re-arrange your bowels, I'd go with Formosa Gunpowder or Lapsang Souchang(sp?), mm!
-------------------- Don't worry, I'm wrong.

I met her in a club down in old soho Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry-cola [lp version: Coca-cola] C-o-l-a cola She walked up to me and she asked me to dance I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said lola L-o-l-a lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Well Im not the worlds most physical guy But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine Oh my lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola Well Im not dumb but I cant understand Why she walked like a woman and talked like a man Oh my lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
Well we drank champagne and danced all night Under electric candlelight She picked me up and sat me on her knee And said dear boy wont you come home with me Well Im not the worlds most passionate guy But when I looked in her eyes well I almost fell for my lola Lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola Lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola lo-lo-lo-lo lola
I pushed her away I walked to the door I fell to the floor I got down on my knees Then I looked at her and she at me
Well thats the way that I want it to stay And I always want it to be that way for my lola Lo-lo-lo-lo lola Girls will be boys and boys will be girls Its a mixed up muddled up shook up world except for lola Lo-lo-lo-lo lola
