My favorite strain I've grown so far has got to be the Thailand Lipa Yai mushroom.
-The mycelium grew fast and looked good -The Lipa Yai mushroom is very good looking IMO -My most succesful casing I've made has been from the Lipa Yai (Nice pinset) -Very potent for a cube, grown from WBS to Hpoo
I just find the Thailand Lipa Yai very interest (in a positive way)
Anyone else here really enjoy the Lipa Yai like I do?

I'll venture a guess to say the longer someone has been growing, the less likely they are to have a favorite strain, partly because they're so much alike, but also note that it's common for differences to exist even within a strain from flush to flush and from mushroom to mushroom.
From a species standpoint, I prefer mexicana sclerotia over cube fruits hands down. Sclerotia provide a much cleaner trip with little to no stomach discomfort. RR

bullshit. their favorite might change often, but i bet everyone has one right now. wether it changes often or not is not my question. for example, i dont like golden teachers at all right now, but my favorite (out of the 7 that i have ) is PESA. very productive, fast mycelium, decent size, and strong to boot!!!! ] ....see, now that wasnt so hard.

I once tried asking the sponsors which ones they sell the most of to find out which ones were the most popular.
They all gave vague answers like "x, y, z, m, and n are all popular," or wouldn't even reply. That sucks.
