after all the worries of my puerto rican strain, the casing is finally pinning...this was my very first try at growing mushrooms, and now i can really see why people are so into this.
after 2 weeks of waiting i began to get a little daring and i sprinkled some BRF on top of one side of the casing.
the next day both sides started to pin, but the side with the BRF pinned more and appear to be a little bigger
i thought of contams but the PR strain is so resistant to it that i gave it a go
anythoughts?

dont put nutrients in your casing layer especially something like brf ... the most important thing in this hobby is patience and two weeks is pretty normal for pinning to occur .. start getting worried in the 4th week
