never watched and frankly I don't want too cause I'm sure I will cry...I don't get why ppl watch these movies that make them feel like shit lol...I guess this just avoidance on my part but I dunno...I love horror movies because I'm completely desensitized and am fully able to disconnect myself from the material and see the vision that the artist had

No, I did not cry while watching the Notebook and feel it is one of the most overrated movies in the past few years.
I just saw Hostel the other night and was also disappointed. I've even had people trying to talk me out of it because of how gory it was - this got me even more excited. The plot is brilliant, it could have been done so much better. I didn't feel for any of the characters, I wasn't rooting for them, and when they died I easily shrugged it off. A disappointment considering Tarantino is one of my favorite directors.
But no, I didn't cry at the Notebook.

ya I've said the same many times...it IS brilliant...the idea..it had the makings for a true classic but it did not deliver...the devils rejects on the other hand delivered more then I thought was possible from the horror genre...its cool as fuck that we got this dude(zob zombie) who fuckin LOVES horror and he also seems to be quite brilliant...with him and tarantino I think horror is gonna get really good really soon

YES I do admit I loved the Devils Rejects. Moreso than House of 1000 Corpses

btw tarantino DID NOT DIRECT hostel he produced it...its spawned from the dark realms of eli roth's mind...same dude who did cabin fever...now cabin fever was about as bad as a movie can get(the only thning i can think of that was worse was dreamcatcher...omg what piece of trash) but anyways hostel was quite a step up
and tarantino is backin him so...who knows

Hostel's plot was horrible. I would go into detail, but I don't want to post spoilers.

And I only caught the end of The Notebook, but everyone in the room that saw the whole thing was in tears I think.

Just admit it: You cried at the end of Million Dollar Baby. I almost did, but I'm the toughest motherfucker out there, the rest of you little bitches must have been sobbing on the ground. Just kidding, but seriously, what a sad movie!

I was the same way. On the edge, but tried not to. And didn't.
