Yeah, wierd leaves and flowers.
Interesting. All plants have mutations like that sometimes.
The real question here, is if that's a desireable trait.
Save the seeds from those specific pods, and try to carry on the new genotype.
Who knows, you may create your own strain of poppy.

dont share the seeds though untill u have a proper supply
or else someone else might establish some supid sounding name before u get to give it a kewl one.

shit like that happens all the time wiht CP's, they got single variations known by a bunch of names in different places
and now their trying to make sense of things by encouraging everybody
to include location data with the label.

im not sure how it all works, but i got an expert to help me with my poppie and he keeps telling me to be carefull to keep the seed to myself, so im passing on the advice to you.

well im obviously going to store those seeds seperate from the others. however i dont expect those seeds to produce the same trait. it could be recessive. there was another post earlier this season of somebody you had a similar plant

well i think i figured the problem out with my seeds. the supplier grew the varities to close together to produce stable lines of seed. because all the seeds from the supplier seem to have many variants as if he planted beds next to each other of the original strains then harvested the seeds and sold them as stable lines. well im searching for a better supplier now. i imagine you had the same thing vertigo with the laced one you had. as i have a few laced hen&chicks, persian blues, and persian whites. i have also had purple, pink, and white hen&chicks. oh well. some may find these hybrids to be good things however i wanted to keep some stable lines however that is impossible now.

well i found the source and it turns out my poppie has flowerd at least 3 generations like this already.
hybrid or mutant, time will tell.
but from the looks of it a stable new veriety should be possible.
