Personal Small-Load Dishwashers

What do you think of this as an invention idea? My roomie was blathering about it while wasted last night...
She wants to design a small thing, about the size of a microwave. You could put 2-3 plates, a few glasses, and some silverware in there and it would wash them, just like a full-size diswhasher, but it would sit on your counter!
Good idea? Silly idea?

Yeah, like zippoz said, they exist...
I HATE doing dishes... I was going to buy one, but they're around $200 and I don't have the money for it right now...

Is it really that hard to wash that many dishes by hand? It takes all of what...60 seconds?
I'd say its a good idea in the scheme of making a quick buck off shitty products that you can convince the masses to buy via infomercials...or if you have some sort of dish washing phobia.

Awww...don't you hate that? You think you're idea is amazing until you realize - someone else beat you to it.
That's how I felt several years ago after I thought of an invention "weed scented incense". INGENIOUS! I exclaimed! I called my best friend on the phone right away so I could brag about my amazing idea. This euphoria lasted all of 5 minutes when I found out that..."Jen, they have had those forever..."
crushed.
