i have lateralus and 10,000 days but im going to go back and get the other tool CDs. i found an out of print DVD/CD called salival that looks pretty good, but i cant seem to find it anywhere for less than 75 dollars. i am a bit of a collector, so i don't want to just download the songs, plus i'd like to have the art booklet too. so tool fans, lets hear some reviews on salival.

I own Salival, and it's quite damn good. It's worth it alone just to hear live versions of Third Eye and Pushit (with a completely different introduction with tabla). There's also a nice cover of No Quarter by Led Zep, You Lied by Peach and an improvised live song called Merkaba (which I think is usually what the improvised intros to Sober are called). Also, the DVD has all of the vids (uncut) up to the Aenema album. If you're not sure about spending lots of money on this, download it first and have a listen. First time I heard this, I had downloaded it since it was near impossible to find. Later on I came across some brand new copies and snagged one.

Come on, Salival isn't an album. It doesn't even have any new songs on it unless you count Message to Harry Manback Pt. II or MAYNARD'S DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK. But the live version of pushit alone with Aloke on tabla is worth the price, at least when I bought it, I don't know what it sells for these days, is it really out of print?
And yeah, Kush, it's time to get Aenima.

Get up and go buy Aenima right now. I envy you for not already having it.
Salival is worth having but it isn't worth 75 bucks IMHO save some money by buying used.
