> I mean isn't it all the same chemical that makes you trip in the first place- the Psilocybin?
does all weed give you the same kind of high??? no you can grow sativas like ak47 or durban poison that give you an uplifting high or you can grow indicas that will sedate you; better known as the couch-lock effect.
if you want something strong and visual stick to Puerto Rican, Cambodian, and Florida f+. golden teacher has been visual but colonization time for those suckers has been less than satisfying unless using liquid culture.
Mexican cubi has a very weird onset buzz but is very visual and grows in slightly colder temps also. very visual good strain, good colonization times.
also PESA is a very nice strain but colonization time is comparable to the three i recommend.
last but not least, stropharia is a very visual strain, nice looking fruits and not bad on a colonization speed.
i have most of the Thai strains and the buzz was more body than visual. aren't the visuals what we are all here for??? hope this helps you in your decision making.
p.s. i have worked with over 40 strains so i have a little knowledge on the subject, not that these folks don't but i just had to list my credentials.

For your description I've heard Cambodians are dead on, but I can't give you personal say in the matter till a few weeks. My Cambo batch hasn't hatched yet.

growing texas now... IMO, not on the visual side. body = yes. but, a good mushroom nonethe less.
now Treasure Coast... that's a good mushroom. Good visuals, not much body.
And yes this means that i agree with the fact that different cubes produce different highs.

Hmm.. I'll have to make an attempt at growing some treasure coast. I was thinking about what i should choose for my next strain. Right now i've got 4 jars of B+ nearly ready to fruit, and im getting ready to culture some equadorians tomorrow.

When ralphster says "potency is extreme for a cubensis" when referring to orissa India, does he mean body or visual? NewGuy, is this one of the 40 strains you've had experience with?
Off topic: why is it when I post with quotations, it cuts the post off at the first quotation mark, and I have to come in and edit it?

The texas strain can be a little speedy and give you a wild rush. If you want to chill with some visuals try F+. Ralph is the only one I buy from. His spores are the best out there. Many orders and no problems with shipping or quality. Some of the other vendors are not that great.

Well, I would guess it's because you don't have many posts (still noob status) and are using firefox. I think it's a firefox bug.

MLBjammer said: Ralph is a spore vendor--and a very kind one at that. All cubensis are pretty similar in the buzz they produce. I have never been able to say that any difference between strains is greater than the similarities. Potency is absolutely based on the substrain of spores, regardless of the medium on which they are cultivated. Bulks and large casings will simply produce more and bigger fruits, in my experiences. GL.
RALPH is the best
200 innoculations this month not one contam.. grow logs are soon to come
AND yes there is a very NOTICEABLE difference in the trip with the different cubes I grow, I kinda wonder how people do not feel the difference? It must be a substrate thing, or maybe they did not try enough strains.... maybe even sponsors misleading people... labeling different syringes with the same spores
but YES there is a noticeable difference for me

^^^ I agree totally. For my friend and i texans hit like a truck really intense visuals for about an hour then kind of fell off pretty quick. Still a nice 5 - 6 hour trip and zero nausea.
