upside down cake

OK, this is one of the few things I have gotten mixed messages about on the shroomery. I've noticed that a few people have gotten mushrooms that grow the wrong direction. Is this because of the direction the light hits the cake or is it because the cake was inverted when birthed or both?

I'd have to say it's the direction the light hits the cake. No biggie.

Yes. But I have also read somewhere... In a TEK that says to be sure to turn your cake back over after birthing to be sure that your mushies grow the right direction. But agreed I think it is more do to light. that is why it is also good to have darker walls on your FC. so they grow up.
